I just arrived from my trip to 1000 islands cruise and boarded the Discovery Cruise boat - it was the most horrible experience I ever had. The water and surroundings look nice, but once you board these boats there are thousands and I mean literally THOUSANDS of flies that are in the air, and not just one the main level... More

This is a fun day. The cruise takes you around the 1000 islands while the tour guide tells you about the islands, their history and lots of fun facts. Well recommended. More

Excellent Views. Many, many bus tours so arrive early or late...last run of the day tends to be least crowded as bus tours off load and go home them. Take cash for the bar onboard the boats. More

We went on the 3 hour lunch cruise but did not eat lunch on the boat. Was expecting to spend most of the cruise within the small Thousand Islands but in the end you only spend about 30 minutes of the cruise within all the small islands. Otherwise you are in pretty open water between a few large islands so... More

Yes, It was in fact a 1000 islands.......not quite..... just kidding. The cruise was enjoyable, I had lunch on board which was good. It was a pleasant 3hr trip up and down the river. The narrators commentary and history behind some of the spots were both insightful and informative. Some of the homes along and on the river were quite... More

We did the 3 hours Heart of the Islands Cruise and it was absolutely amazing since it goes pretty deep inside the 1000 islands scenery giving you a really good glimpse of this little paradise. We would not recommend the cruise of just 90 minutes because you don't get to see enough, or not the best part anyway. More

We went on a 2-hr sunset discovery tour on the Island Belle around Kingston and up to the mouth of Lake Ontario. It was $26/ person. On this tour you got to see a few of the islands, hear an informative commentary (okay - its a bit cheesy sometimes, but just let yourself go and enjoy being a tourist), and... More

An enjoyable 3 hour lunch cruise from Kingston to Thousand Islands, providing a good buffet and musical entertainment. After viewing the Kingston skyline and Fort Henry, the first half of the cruise is a little uninteresting but once the islands are reached it becomes very enjoyable. The on-board commentary is informative but the light-hearted, jokey, style between past and present... More

My fiancée and I went on the 3 Hour Sunset Dinner Cruise on Sunday, May 22nd. The website stated that we would be on the Island Star ship, which had a full glass roof and offered a gourmet, made-to-order menu. When we got our tickets, we were told we would be on the Island Queen, a double-decker cruise ship which,... More
