The best part of this city hall is the backside - Market square, during Sundays when the antique dealers are out in full force. In front you have the view across the lake to Royal Military College, Fort Henry and Wolfe Island. There are regular live music performances and art exhibits all summer in this downtown hub. More

For the short period that Kingston was the capital of Canada (before Confederation) this building was the seat of Parliament. Worth visiting just because of that fact. Well maintained, achitecturally interesting and with friendly, helpful and knowledgable young guides. We took our grandchildren (12 & 8) last summer and both were interested and attentive throughout the visit. That speaks volumes... More

Lovely, historic building in the middle of downtown. Guided tours, wonderful and historic artifacts and the home of Canada's first Prime Minister. You must see this place. More

I was surprised by how interesting this tour actually was. There's history, neat K'town facts, and some cool things to see. Make sure you get them to take you to the old prison cells in the basement of the building. And if romance suddenly takes hold of you, you can get a marriage license issued in the same building! The large meeting rooms were very impressive. A good example of a 'working' restored municipal edifice. More

Fascinating building, offering free guided tours. City Hall sits just south of Market Square in a very picturesque location.Very few residents ever take the time to tour their own City Hall, and they certainly should do so. More
