What amazed me most was the fact that there were many propeller aircrafts that were airworthy and the volunteers are working hard to get rest of them to fly.

this is a well kept secret hidden away in Hamilton. The museum has interactive displays and an amazing collection of flying vintage aircraft. With one of two remaining flying Lancasters in the world, it is a must see.
All the exhibits are wonderfully restored and exhibited. Plan on taking at least a half day. Children are welcome and in awe of being able to climb in some of the exhibits.
This display of vintage planes is amazing. Such a lot of hard work restoring these planes by volunteers is such a labor of love. I also visited one other time when they hosted the Canadian Woodworking Show a few years ago. Great place for families to visit.
This is a working museum where old war birds are restored. They have numerous working planes that are available for flights (at a nominal fee). They have the only working Lancaster and it is available for flights, what a gift for a plan buff. Kids will love the displays and chatting with the people that are doing the restorations. Great...

My girlfriend surprised me with a trip here for my birthday since I am very interested in aviation. It surpassed my expectations for sure - there were so many amazing planes on display and having the ability to go sit in them and check them out up close was awesome. Being able to see one of only 2 remaining air...

To really enjoy your visit, engage the volunteers in conversation. They have a great deal of information and are always glad to answer questions and explain about the planes and the...

Was lucky enough to be visiting the day after the International Air Show, so stood...

This is a great place for families and adults. It's great to learn about the airplanes and especially the Lancaster Bomber. As I have a uncle that was killed while bailing out of a Lancaster in WW11, I am particularly interested in learning about it. They have done a fabulous job in its restoration. Luckily, living in Hamilton, I get...
