The Rock Garden looks magical this time of year. Tulips and Magnolias are just fading and the lilac is in bloom. Walkg around the different gardens we could see the work being fine in different beds for the busy summer. Another craft day out in a piece of paradise.

I am a member so I support the efforts made by RBG to get young people involved in nature and science - the dinosaurs just off the main lobby are really quite awe-inspiring. I love the various gardens too, and the opportunities offered by the programs for adults and children. We spent a particularly interesting evening one time touring Cootes'... More

The RBG has so much to offer! There are indoor exhibits and events going on all the time. The hall and Rose gardens are great spots for weddings. My personal favourite are the walking/hiking trails, well groomed, full of natural sights to be seen - birds, insects, fish, turtles, beavers and muskrats (to name a few). The only reason I... More

We absolutely loved our visit to the Arboretum at Royal Botanical Gardens. The best part of the day was the birds! They were incredibly friendly and willing to pose for photographs. If you like to take pictures, just bring a couple nuts and seeds and they will literally be eating out of your hands. Great experience. The flowers and trees... More

We spent a few hours at the RBG during the Lilac Festival in 2012. We took a picnic lunch and found a shady picnic table. The kids had a ball running around and climbing trees. The lilacs are just beautiful. Although we found the entry fee to be a little high, we did enjoy it and I'm sure that we... More

The RBG is a beautiful place to visit and my finance and I were shocked at how good the food was eating at the little eatery amidst the flowers and trees. Very nice indeed!

When the Tulips are up, it is a beautiful site to see. The RBG has great trails for those that want to hike, it has a gift shop for those that would like a bite to eat or to browse. The Rose Garden in the summer is beautiful. Tulips and lilac gardens are great in the spring time. A great... More

Just back from a hike to see the nesting eagles and watching spring trying to bud in the RBG. Anytime of year, this is a wonderful spot to reconnect with nature. In the spring, summer and fall the gardens are spectacular. All year round the hikes are enjoyable and today we viewed three grey does in the woods beside our... More
