I love the waterfront trail. It's a great route and interesting too. The lake is beautiful. My favourite time to go there is weekday mornings around 9:30am or 10am. It's quiet and the morning traffic on the skyway has died down. There are hydro towers which is an eye sore. Aside from that it's a great trail and you can... More

So much going on. People biking and roller blading. Families just enjoying the day. A nice detour! More

clean, kept up, pleasant, calming, pet friendly. Just an all around beautiful place to be, even in the warmer winter months. If the Hamilton side was redone like that than that would be great. More

I like running on trails along water for their views and because they are mostly flat. It's also a nice way to spend an hour or two wandering from Spencer Smith Park down to the lift-bridge and back. You do see a bit of traffic on the trail, but I've never seen it particularly congested once you get south of... More

I live in Burlington and ride my bicycle along the trail regularly in appropriate weather. You can start in Hamilton and cross the lift bridge to downtown Burlington or park in one of the many lots along the route. Walking, cycling, roller blading and stroller pushing are common sights. Washrooms are available as are restaurants but check a map for... More

It's on the margins of one of the world's largest lakes. Don't detour to see it. It's small. Burlington is a nice place to live, but I thing it's an old first nations word for "let's go aon, and maybe we'll find something to see. More
