The restaurant had a musty smell when I entered but as it was so cold that day we stayed anyways. Waitress was good and the food was fine. Not a place that will blow you away but the experience was ok.

A beautiful scooner recreated by Nova Scotians.......you should see her in full sail with a slight breeze....WOW
Make sure you stay overnight in one of the lovely inns or BandBs in downtown Lunenburg, tour the maritime museum, and get as close to the Bluenose II as you can. Bluenose 2 was being restored; currently no masts so not much to look at right now. Small museum and staff available to explain what work is underway.

The original Bluenose was Christened in 1921 as .a fishing vessel but her speed was soon to become her pride, She was defeated in the inaugural Sir Thomas Lipton International Fishing Challenge Cup by perhaps her most celebrated competitor, the Gertrude...
