When people come to visit me, I always take them here on my downtown walking tour! You can easily walk from downtown hotels like the Delta and Cambridge Suites to here. Very unique items, good price range, arts and crafts are adjudicated. Everything it locally made.
What can I say about this wonderful place? I never miss going there when I return to Cape Breton. Their recent exhibit Home to Roost...was totally wonderful. I always feel, you can't know a community in some ways, without knowing it's art and craft. Don't miss the raku of Sara Beck.
A new building which displays numerous juried crafts - jewelry, paintings, woodwork to name a few and I do mean a few! Courses and demonstrations take place on a regular basis. They offer several social occasions which are high class and raise funds to support the continuance of this wonderful centre!
