If ever you are in Fredericton on a saturday morning, don't miss out on the Boyce Farmer's market. Fresh produce, hand made goods, beautiful people and great coffee (Whitney coffee). This market has been a landmark in Fredericton for over 50 years. Its well worth the stop.

I grew up in Fredericton and spent many a Saturday morning at the market. Fantastic fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers in season. Meat, fish and cheese vendors. Local artisans selling their wares. Usually a few musicians. Tons of hot food - so many choices! The samosas are the best I have ever had! I live in Toronto now but make... More

I'm not suggesting that you travel to Fredericton just to visit Boyce's, but if you're there, do not miss this. It's much more than just a farmer's market. It's like a major crafts fair, carnival and the best farmer's market you've ever been to. Vendors sell every sort of seafood you'd find in New Brunswick. I couldn't begin to catalog... More

Frederictonians always recommend the Market to visitors and new residents of Fredericton, and for good reason. One of the best local markets that we have seen anywhere, it offers a surprising range of ethnic foods for such a small city. As other reviewers have noted, you must arrive early to avoid the huge crowds that flock there every weekend. There... More

Great mix of food and crafts. I used to live in Fredericton and this was a mandatory Saturday experience. Visiting recently, little has changed, and what has is for the better. I particularly liked the charcuterie vendor who had some excellent offerings.

A typically Fredericton weekend would not be complete with a stop to this market. It is one of the best local markets in New Brunswick. Fredericton beyond being the capital of NB it is also a smaller an more rural urban centre an has a diverse German, Amish, French and Scottish people's that all gather in this unique market to... I grew up in Fredericton and have fond memories of the Market on a Saturday morning, there's always something new to see and something delicious to eat. I always end up buying more than I plan to, and whenever the kids come along they have a great time. So worth the trip. Get there early to avoid the crowds! (PS... More

This is Fredericton's true highlight to a week in this city. The people of Fredericton almost all come out to this event held weekly on Saturday morning in much the same mannor as has been so for hundreds of years. The rest of the week Frederictonians are more reserved and kept to themselves. Set in the middle of many farming... More

We visit the Farmer's Market every weekend, and we try to sample new things as well as having our favourites we return to every time. Open until 1pm, it gets pretty packed starting at around 10, but if you don't mind the crowds it's nice to be around when there's lots going on. Our absolute favourites are Choco Cocagne for... More

... if you want to purchase and not only explore. It gets crowded the later you arrive. If you go for shopping /getting groceries you might like to be there around 7 am. We like going here from time to time to get specific things we need, but don't afford to often. You'll find many different trades here. Butchers, Bakers,... More
