very nice old building with fine workmanship, wonderfully constructed. and worth seeing, would recommend anyone who has the time to visit.

Its an interesting, history filled place that helps you to understand why Fredericton is the way it is. Our past and our present.
Get inspired to learn about the Provincial Government. Tours are available in both English and French by a very knowable guide. Come sit a spell in the magnificent library and peruse a newspaper which come from all across New Brunswick.
This building has a handsome interior. It's instructive for foreigners such as myself to get a glimpse into Canadian provincial legislation (all provinces apparently have unicameral legislatures). The tour is free, friendly, and available in both of the province's official languages (English and French).
Go on the 30 minute free tour. The tapestries are one of kind and explain all the history of Fredericton
Our tour guide was the best! She was funny and informative. Try to see this beautiful building--and hear the slightly shady story behind it. :)
Be aware that you need a passport to go in as there is a security check to get in. However once in it is very interesting and extremely well presented and cared for.
Not much of a politician, but thought Government employees were all about me? On my one visit I saw no-one working, 1 guy reviewing his case load prior to a discussion in the house. Honestly, not a big fan of government but I did enjoy the tapestries & stair case.
It's not to the standards of anything you'd see in Europe. It's rather small and quaint.
