Museum was very busy the day we went, it also gave us an excuse to stay out of the rain. That said the museum has plenty to see and is well worth the visit

The First Nations' portion of the museum's permanent collection is excellent and would be worth the admission price by itself. In the current rotating exhibits there was one area on dinosaurs and one area on the current flora and fauna of the region. We presume this was linked with the IMAX National Geographic Dinosaurs movie that was playing.

I only had 45 minutes to visit, but quite enjoyed the top floor of human history exhibits, especially the 1800's era "main street" with a Grand Hotel. I wish I'd had more time to explore this area.
I visited the IMAX theatre, and enjoyed the Rocky Mountain Express film.

My wife. daughter and I went on Saturday, May 19th. For 2 adults and an 8 yr old - it came to about $91 and about $12 for parking next door. The exhibits are very well done. Staff is excellent and welcoming. Has a great National Geographic Imax with outstanding movies.

Relatively speaking, its insanely awesome compared to Miniature world.
