Our stop at Swans Brewpub was part of a pub crawl bus tour that we did with friends when our cruise ship arrived in town, and was definitely the best pub that we stopped at. “Beautiful place, too much hops in the pale ale.”

A lovely hotel but the music from the band goes up the vents to some of the rooms until midnight on weekends. I was given a free beer sampler with an overnight stay and ordered a pale ale. I got what I paid for. I asked if they were sure it wasn't an IPA. Apparently I don't know beer. More

We live locally but only this weekend tried out the Swan. We sat at the bar and tried a couple of the beers, the lager and the IPA, as well as a salmon pizza.
