Where better to learn about First Nation’s culture than in this beautiful, natural setting where they once lived? Located in Stanley Park, the village is easy to find and easy to get to from downtown by public transit. I especially liked the authentic outfits and the talks by elders. Great for kids and adults too. More

Thank you for your review! We are happy that you enjoyed your visits to the Village last August. We hope you come back to the Village again this summer after we open on National Aboriginal Day - June 21. We have made some changes for this season... This year the theme for the miniature train is "The Legend of the... More

Nothing was happening. People were just standing around a bunch of closed demonstrations. It was a scam to suck tourist dollars. I think it eventually closed. More

We're sorry you were disappointed with your visit to Klahowya Village last summer. We recognized early last summer that depending on what time of day you visited the Village you might miss many of its attractions due to the timing. We made significant changes to the Village last July to remedy that issue based on the feedback of visitors like... More

This is history at it's best if that's what your looking for in so far as who was here before Captian Vancouver arrived from England. You will be suprised at the amount of natural nature right in the middle of a beautiful city. More

Thanks for review. We're glad you enjoyed last year's Klahowya Village. We are getting ready for this summer's season starting on National Aboriginal Day - June 21. This year's theme for the Spirit Catcher Train and the plaza area will be the First Nations' story of the Sasquatch. We hope you can make it back to the Klahowya Village to... More

We brought my mom here on her last visit and we really enjoyed the gift shop. She was able to find some lovely gifts to bring back home to friends and family. More

A few years ago this was the Stanley Park Miniature train with cute figurines and pretend animals in the woods, now it has been turned into a typical over-priced tourist attraction. There already are so many touristy things in Van, let alone more Native arts/culture. They jacked up the price by 100% and now play a story of a native... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are sorry that your visit to the Klahowya Village was a disappointment. Based on visitor feedback we made significant changes to the Village setup, pricing and staffing at the beginning of August last year after your visit. Visitor response was consistently positive after that. We are making... More

We went with our three kids. The price was ok. The experience started off great. As we walked in they started off with singing and dancing. The kids dived in and enjoyed taking part in the show. The kids were introduced to "smudging". The show was great and the kids were captivated for 100% of the show. Once the show... More

My husband and I and our grown-up daughter spent a sunny afternoon at the site - visited last year as well. We spent most of our time in the Métis exhibit and were privileged to have a few minutes chatting with the artist with his sculpture installations. The story-telling on the train ride was as much fun for us as... More

Our family of four had a great but short experience in the Klahowya Village. This is what we do in the village. I don't think we missed much... maybe the food: - Train ride (spirit catcher train): favorite with the kids. The ride is through a beautiful forest with tall trees. During the ride you hear a First Nations story,... More

We went to visit this based on comments in Trip advisor and it was well worth it. While the presentations, displays and shows are all very good, the most interesting was to talk with the people that are there. They are very friendly and willing to talk which made it much more interesting and interactive. More
