We went before dinner next door at Seasons. We didn't expect the garden surrounding both places to be so lovely. The Conservatory itself was spectacular, with both birds and plants from tropical climes.

Nestled in the middle of gorgeous Queen Elizabeth park (which is a must-see by itself), the Bloedel Conservatory is an excellent place for tourists and locals to visit. The amount of exotic birds and plants you see in an hour is amazing. The admission is very cheap ($6.50/adult and even cheaper for youngsters) and worth it completely; I would go... More

We spent a delightful hour with our biology-minded grandson in the warm humid air. We received a brochure to help identify the many species of exotic birds and were able to find almost all of them. This is particularly enjoyable on a chilly day, just like being transported to Fiji. You can take the walk through the conservatory on a... More

If you appreciate exotic plants and some of our little feathered friends, this is a great place to stroll and take in the sights while the enjoying oxygen rich air in the covered dome. The admission is inexpensive @ $6.50 for Adults and $4.50 for seniors (65 plus). The time to see everything depends on the amount of time you... More

Amazing place for viewing and photographing parrots and flowers. However, the space is very limited, and as a professional photographer, I ALWAYS set up my tripod, because the light is quite dim. The area is too small for a photographer like me. I always need to move my setup whenever someone comes by, which is very often. It also depends... More

Exotic plants from around the world and a few birds as well. You can find plant species in here to learn about, take pictures. An interesting place to visit. Found in Queen Elizabeth Park, south of the downtown area, up Cambie street to the south.

The Bloedel Conservatory is an amazing little bio-dome with beautiful lush tropical plants and free flying exotic birds. While not large, it is a great place to go to escape rainy Vancouver weather. You can take an afternoon for a leisurely stroll under a beautiful tropical canopy while all kind of birds fly around you. It is fun to take... More
