The aboriginal hip hop exhibit was cool, and Canadian art from the 1960s was informative. it's the sort of exhibit you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. More

I was expecting more in a large city like Vancouver and for an admission fee of $20, but was very disappointed. The two special exhibits (on the 2 first floors) were interesting, but the pieces of artwork are few and far between. An entire floor was closed. Thank you for your comments, we appreciate your feedback. As with many museums, the Vancouver Art Gallery must close galleries between exhibitions in order to coordinate the installation of new exhibitions. “More than art”

Exhibits are always great but that’s only a part of what's at the art gallery. They also have a lovely gift shop and beautiful café with outdoor sitting area. Food can’t be beat and reasonably priced too! More

Stopped in here on a wet day in Vancouver. It's decent enough to spend a few hours, but my overall experience was not particularly memorable.
