We went to see Aida, my first real opera aside from the Phantom of the Opera in Vegas. We got seats at the back of the balcony, but were not dissapointed; the view is great from most seats in the theatre. I loved the fact that subtitles streamed above the stage, so you could understand the storyline. During the intermission,... More

I really don't know what this theatre would be good for. It's too big for opera-Many seats are just too far away from the stage. Women are forced to line-up for the entire intermission because there aren't enough women's bathrooms. The interior lobbies are dated and boring. Seats inside the theatre are small and people are packed in like sardines.... More

We've been here a couple times now - once for a children's show (YoGabbaGabba) and once for a concert (Sting). It is a nice venue for smaller performances. It would be pretty hard to get a "bad" seat in there - nothing is that far back :) More

A good venue for opera and ballet performances and more... Theatre seats, carpets and interior furnishings were renovated in 2009. The initial plan was to completely revamp and reconfigure the seating map, but environmental hazard issues (lead paint) discovered during the deconstruction phase kept that from coming to fruition within the budget constraints and so, sadly, the original seating configuration...
