Loved these cute little water taxis - good value for money
Like riding in in a motorised aquatic bathtub - great fun,
We stayed at the Granville Island Hotel and took the aquabus to get to our dinner rendezvous with friends. My husband left his camera on the bench on our trip back. He realized it after about five minutes. We ran back to the embarkment pier and the very next aquabus to stop had his camera. How's that for service!
Was super excited to take these little boats with our rental bikes from Granville Island over to Downtown. Reasonable price, super quick and a good way to get on the water.
No stress on driving, directions, parking etc.... great for family visitors to spend the day visiting and touring the area. There is lots to do at False Creek and the markets. Check out the various neighborhoods, grand houses and gardens....etc.
I recently took one of these ferries across the harbour to Granville Island and back on one of my day trips around the city. Clever concept and reasonably priced. Wish I had a young child with me since they really enjoy this type of thing. The views were amazing. I could ride this little boat for an hour or two! Great, enthusiastic staff! Appreciated Hyatt at the ticket counter. She is wonderful with her free advice about Granville Island!
For an up close and personal experience of False Creek you can't beat the Aquabus Ferries. Dog and bike friendly, personable staff and the option of disembarking at various locations within the Creek. This is a "must do" for visitors.
