We spent most of the day on the mountain. Two of us ziplined while the others enjoyed the Lumberjack show, a ride to the top of the mountain and some time watching the bears. Good family fun.

Just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, Grouse Mountain attracts locals and tourists alike. During the summer, guests enjoy hiking, Zip Line Adventures, paragliding, sightseeing, lumberjack shows and more. In winter, we have skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, sleigh rides among many other activities. Grouse Mountain also features several different dining venues, from café style at Lupins to casual dining at Altitudes and fine dining as a guest at The Observatory. We also have a refuge for endangered wildlife.

Good attraction and plenty to see. The lumberjacks are worth the fee itself, this may be your only chance to spot the bears that Columbia have to offer so don't miss the chance, Keep a lookout for the bald eagle.

Bear enclosure, Jacklumber show, mountain view of Vancouver city & habour, and amazing ziplining. It is more than just a cable-car ride. There is a lot to do e.g. hand-gliding. Definitely a must see/do destination for visitors and locals.

I was disappointed when I got up there as there wasn't much to do and aside from the view, it just seemed like a bit of a money making scheme!

Well worth it and you can see grissly bears. Very good restaurant there - we sat out in the sun looking over Vancouver and had a delicious lunch. Good shop there as well and not too expensive. I would imagine it gets very busy in summer but we went at 10.00am and it was fine

We have been there in the summer time for the lumber jack comedy stuntman show, to see the bears (two) up close, the outdoor eagle/hawk bird show, and the movie. All were entertaining and worth it. The stunts were amazing... very agile, strong and handsome lumberjack stuntmen. Bring a cap when it is sunny. We did not get to Zipline...

Pick your day for the best weather and pack a lunch to save a few bucks. Unless you have a local's pass it'll cost forty bucks to get up and down. Per adult. Solution? Loved the gondola going up. The orphan bears they have there are gorgeous and so much fun watching them close up. The chair lift ride up to the peak has a terrific view as well. Great place for a day's outing.
