I love everything about this place. Some would call it eclectic. Lots of small boutique stores for art & clothing, many bars & restaurants, great grocery stores...this place has got everything you could ever need. Great destination for brunch at the weekend More

A formerly older, tired area on outskirts of Vancouver that has recently revived as a desirable residential area (older, worn Victorian homes being purchased and restored by today's younger families). A strong sense of community has given the area new life, along with interesting little shops and restaurants, some of which can compete with downtown Vancouver's finest. Lots of community... More

This area of Vancouver has earned a special place in my heart. Without the pretence of Vancouver's westside, it still has the independently run cafes, restaurants, and pubs that make Vancouver so special. Be sure to visit the Rio theatre, Banditas, JJ Bean, Toby's, and St. Augustine's. Broadway and Commercial Station makes this area very easy to access via transit. More

This street has a European flare to it, in that most of the shops and restaurants are what you would see in Italy, or any other big city in Europe. A lot of the delicaseas in Europe are located here, so park your car or better yet catch a bus over and just walk the entire street. You will also... More

Lots of food, very little shopping... Not the best servers. Don't feel bad about tipping a little less here cause of the service you don't receive in this area. Tip according to what you get. More

Great place to find the unusual. Interesting shops, galleries and good food. Take in the colorful locals and artists and grab a bite at a local cafe. More

Has some good cafes and restaurants, flowers, and small shops. Also some good health food stores, one neat store had high raw foods if one is into that. Like some of the graffiti/wall art as well. Some hidden gems of houses on side streets above "the drive" if one takes the time to really look. More
