Maybe a little dirtier and less looked out for than English Bay and Second Beach but nonetheless it is beautiful! Near Prospect Point, and a short walk from Second beach!
Beautifull landscape in the mid of Stanley park, just beside the pedestrian tour to the park, excellent for a rest after a roller ride in the park.
This beach is nice because it's not fully accessible. Tons of people take their bikes here. The crowd is mostly composed of younger people, with a few families enjoying the eastern end of the beach. The sand is quite soft, with swimmable water.
It's in Stanley Park right on the water. It is one of three beaches that face the ocean front on English Bay. Enjoy all three beaches by taking a walk, hike, run or cycle ride. Stanley Park, English Bay, False Creek are three must do locations in Vancouver for every visitor. You'll love them.
It is a very beautiful place. We rode our bikes and the bike lanes are excellent. There is a wonderful large pool that is great for families and kids. The beach area is very nice. We had a relaxing time at the beach in the sun!
Third Beach is my very most favourite Vancouver beach. It's generally less crowded than the other beaches around Stanley Park, the water is swimmable. In the middle of a metropolitan city. It's got an amazing bike and hiking trail going by, easy parking and nice high cliffs all around. This is the pleasant sit and rest spot after a long... More
great beach, quite clean, sand for miles, with a view of harbor, ships coming in, mountains, and sometimes even seals. Downside, parking is hard at times, and prone to crowding, but if you are prepared to walk along a fair way you will find a more peaceful part. Definitely worth a day visit.
