Surf Sisters is fantastic! Even though I had some difficulty (who am I kidding, lots of difficulty), Stephanie was so patient with me and for that I thank her and Surf Sisters. I now understand why surfing is so addictive!! More

I've had the pleasure of surfing with the Surf Sisters in Tofino several times over the past few years and absolutely love it! The instructors are fun, enthusiastic, encouraging, not intimidating, and they can all actually 'shred the gnar'! All of their equipment is in good condition and you really feel like the staff cares about making your surfing experience a... More

we had heard many good things about surf sister and were eager to check it out, as beginners. we walked in on a rainy morning and got a quick hello as we checked out the merchandise. the two employees were chatting together at the front, and we had to interrupt their conversation to ask about the surfing lessons, rather than... Overall, the girls who work here were great. Their lesson was really good and not pretentious. They were encouraging, and great! The only reason they are getting 4 out of 5 (rather than 5/5 stars) is because towards the end of the lesson, the attention of the instructors started to drift; they stopped giving us as much advise, and began... As a first time surfer, I appreciated the patient and encouraging way I was taught. I was able to stand a few times and ride the waves into shore during the hour-long lesson I had. I don't like cold water and the wet suit kept me surprisingly warm in the cold weather. The lesson made me more confident that the... More

Classes are generally large so don't expect much one on one training. if you really want to learn how to surf there are better companies to go with. If you are looking for a good one day session playing in the water you may enjoy this company. More

After two days in Tofino, my boyfriend talked me into trying surfing. He chose Surf Sister because he thought they’d be most attentive to the fact that I tend to get very cold very quickly. We had a great group lesson with their instructors on a Thursday morning, and although I was terrified of being chilly in the water, their... More
