Little disappointing, more geared to campers than to a short visit. It is amazing to see a large lake surrounded by farm fields. Perhaps we were too early in the season for the park area to be fully operational. Positive side of that was we didn't have to pay to get in! More

Has nice walking trails and in the summer they put on little eco plays (kind cute) the camp sites are nicely graveled and have picnic tables and fire pits. There are walking campsites for tents as well. The west ones are the closest to washrooms and water. There is a snack shack open in the summer and a nice playground... More

Lots to do for a day or a week! Birdwatching, swim, volley area, kids park, walking trails etc. The water is pretty choppy, but what lake around Grande Prairie isn't? If you can stop the wind for a while, water sports would be an extra plus. More

This provincial park is more of a local camp ground next to a large slough. The water is very murky and swimming in not recommended. There are no beaches on this small lake and it is open to the west and north so it gets a lot of wind. The camping area is well treed but it has a very... More

Unfortunatelly the Saskatoon Lake did not impressed me overly. It is smelly and it feels like a swamp. I did not feel like there was any beach area at all to be talked about. I grant you though the actual part is not too bad, if you come only to do some bar-b-q or to visit with friends. More
