If you are training for a half marathon it is a great area to run around. However in the winter and spring look out for slippery sections. I have heard you can fish for pike there too.

This is a very nice place for kids in the area to go walking or biking but there is nothing of significance there unless you are putting your boat in the water.

We had a few thousand people attend and participate in the World Sprints Outrigger Canoe Championships. They did an excellent job with the set up and organization of the grounds and on the water. We had a great time! Team Hawaii!

The Glanmore Sailing Club dominates and occupies a good part of the land on the south side with their clubhouse, launching ramp, and storage. There is a walking/biking pad that leads to the west end of the lake and park, leading to the weasel head wildlife sanctuary.

We attended a birthday party inside the fenced water spray park at S. Glenmore. South Glenmore Park was a regular destination for us when our girls were younger in the summer- the splash park there is great!! It also has two playgrounds, lots of shade and a huge grassy area. It's not too big that it's hard to keep an eye on the kids- but it's not too small that it ever felt crowded/

I went fishing for little while. I've been there many times. It's a nice place, people are friendly, and good fishing spots, if you know where to go.

the water is so calm and the views are spectacular. Lots of trees and the sand hills have lots of caves. You can pick Saskatoon berries there.

I run around this reservoir, and mark this as one of the 4 best stops to view.
