Beautiful location in the Canadian Rockies, on a blue-green lake at the foot of a glacier. Stately, Canadian railrord historic chateau puts the fine in fine accommodations, fine dining, fine activities and absolutely amazing views. Ya gotta go here!

I have put a full review of this over-priced, out-dated and cheerless hotel elsewhere on trip advisor so won't go through it all again. They charge $400+ for a room - and then start adding-on charges for everything from car parking to wi-fi. Wi-fi, for goodness sake - in this day and age?

Nice food, in a lovely setting, but you pay for it! The service was reasonable, but not outstanding. I would stay in the village for better value for money.
