We vacationed right before the course opened for the season, but the area was terrific to drive through. No need to spend the $150 or so to play there to appreciate the sights. Got to see numerous elk eating the spring grass along the side of the course that evening--an added treat.

Great day beautiful course. Didn't golf well at all but it didn't matter when you are in such a scenic place. I will do it again that's for sure. Nice cart girls serving drinks as well

Just around the corner from Bow falls. A lot of trails to walk and very peaceful. I would recommend taking a dog with you, as I hear a lot of wildlife roam around, although I didn't see any on the day.

I have been at this Golf Course a few times in the past and it is very nice and situated in a very nice area with awesome moutains view. Once in a while one can come across wild life here too.

Surprisingly, the Banff Springs golf course is flat--green lawns swaying through the trees. But the wildlife and the views are outstanding. I saw a male elk hunkered down and chewing his cud. Food was very good and the scenery is outstanding. This is a must stop on any visit to Banff. The elk make wonderful dinner guests.

this is more about a great location to see wild life. we saw lots of Elk from edge of the course .the golf course itself looked immaculate and what a setting
