Nothing special, a lake, and the thing that impressed me is the rip off that would be to take the boat for a lake tour. About 50$ per person. I would suggest to walk around the lake or look for something else. More

This is an easy drive from Banff and it is beautiful in spring, summer and fall. Part of the road is closed for wildlife in the winter but you can still see most of the sights from the main drive. Take a picnic and enjoy the view! More

The road leading to Lake Minnewanka was scenic & we saw lots of wildlife. Lots of opportunities in the area to walk the trails if you are not wanting to do a major hike. More

It was quite due to the season. The ice is half melt and leave interesting patterns on the lake. The ice floes move and collide in the wind giving out crisp tinkling sound. It was a magic moment. More

Ship condition: lackluster Staff: hurried Experience: a wee bit disappointing If you are looking for a Banff water experience, the river rafting or the canoeing or the bow river floating are all much better. Unless there is an issue of a mobility challenge, or young children, or seniors, this boat trip may be a bit under par. The views are... More
