There has been a lot of money put into the Old Port area and it is so nice now!! A gorgeous little area to view Sandy Beach with public artwork and restrooms. Not nearly as many fish stalls as the past, but a lot of more cool restaurants with stunning views and little curio shops. A must see when visiting... More

Four-hour drive from Phoenix or Tucson for a SAFE and fun Mexico trip. Stay in a luxury resort on Sandy Beach or (recommended) rent a condo or house in Las Palamas (gated community on the beach). OR, drive 15 min further to Cholla Bay for a more authentic (cheaper and safe) experience. We went with grandkids ages 4-6 and they... More

Love all the improvements that have been made in Old Port. There is more parking and with the help of a couple of gentlemen directing and assisting for tips only, the traffic flows well. Be sure to stop at Marco's Fish for scallops, shrimp and flounder! More

Any trip to RP must include some time in the Old Port area. It's fun to walk around and see what is the vendors are selling. Great bar scene, amazing ocean views from many bars and restaurants. Food is ok - we go for the view more than the food. More

It's not terribly charming, and it's not terribly cheap. Better bargains are on "Rodeo Drive". More

They have really upgraded the look of the old port area. There is a nice town square and benches to watch the sunset. However, the shops are really sad, not much selection and the venders are quite aggressive. More

Great service, the location upstairs sitting with a slight breeze watching the shrimp boats & ocean make this a great spot to relax. Did I mention the best Bloddy Mary around! More
