The review is for the team at the Riu Palace, Playacar. The team were very friendly and relaxed and the centre seemed to be quite busy but the quality of the briefings wasnt good and to get any good diving in you really need to go to Cozumel which we did. We chose not to take our own equipment as...

Having used Scuba Caribe twice now on our trips to Mexico, i have found them to be very friendly & helpful but above all safe, i've had some great dives with them, my wife snorkles & she found them to be very helpful, i'm sure i'll use them again this year and i would recommend them to anyone who asked...

The staff were great in setting us up with snorkeling which was great, and fishing where we caught a sailfish and barracuda. They were tolerant of our many questions and very accommodating. They even emailed us pictures of our big catch. Thanks to the staff at the riu playacar scuba caribe for making our trip a memorable one.

We did a snorkle trip, unfortunantly it was with a dive trip as well. Scuba Caribe is a good company and the work hard to please. But, I would suggest if your going snorkling go on a snorkle boat ONLY.

I went to Playa Del Carmen for spring break '2011'. I went on 9 dives with Michael Valente and his crew. First day to Cozymel and it was amazing. The professional staff was a pleasure to be around. I felt safe and in good hands the entire time. Valente took the time to teach me all the basics that I...

We stayed at the Viva Wyndham south of Playa del Carmen in Feb. 2011. The hotel itself was very nice. Scuba Caribe is the outfitting snorkeling/scuba company associated with the hotel. We are both certified open-water SCUBA divers, and know what to look for in a SCUBA outfitter.
Over the course of our 5 day stay, we talked with their...
