The square is the heartbeat of a beautiful, quaint, sleepy fishing village...there are a number of really cool shops to go shopping in - from really nice jewelry stores to t-shirts to dresses to hats to ceramics to just about anything you can think of!

The main square in San Jose del Cabo is full of history, shops and restaurants. We walked into town from Cabo Azul resort. We like walking into town and did so twice during our 5 day stay. Much quieter than Cabo San Lucas .. The square, the old mission church Not many restaurants. Shopping is better in CSL.

Pretty old square. Gives you a sense of traditional historic Mexico nice to wander the little streets and art trail. Takes you back in time.

Nicely kept square. The shop owners all try to lure you in for your business - even the drug store. Beautiful church and gazebo in the square. They have been working on building a plaza with all typical features. Too much cement though. On sunny hours it is shinny big time! Needs trees, shade, seating areas.

Beautiful area to walk through the streets, the building and the shops! Also enjoyed wandering through the town late at night and felt very safe. The Art district is filled with beautiful works

Small village atmosphere...great shops...many fine dining opportunities...lovely quaint church...close to nice beach access.
