We drove to Playa Santa Maria twice during our recent trip to Cabo. The ocean temperature is brisk in April, but it's not too bad. Taking our own snorkel gear, umbrella, and snacks is the best way to spend an entire afternoon. We saw lots of other families doing the same. My $30 waterproof camera came in handy, but I... More

This is a sheltered bay outside of Cabo San Lucas. You can drive to it and park in the large parking lot patrolled by local police. . Other than porta potties (bring your own toilet paper) and trash cans, amenities are touch and go. No palapas for shade, so bring your own umbrella or go on a cloudy day, as... More

A lot of the tour boats have unfortunately found this beautiful, normally quiet beach and cove...but if you get there before lunch to do your snorkeling, you won't be disappointed. We've gone for the past two years and loved it both times. If you're driving, it's easy access with signage on the highway. You'll need to bring all your supplies... More

This is perfect for a day of relax, snorkeling, and a lot of sun. The landscape are great and a lot of fishes are visible close to the beach. Let's go there early in the morning because around noon a lot of boat come in and ruin the natural beauty

Absolutely incredible! We always visit this spectacular location. We stay for around an hour which for us is perfect. Sometimes we come by taxi, and also by boat - see our Cabomagic review - and enjoy both arrivals. Recommend 'water' shoes for walking on hot sand and to protect feet in the water too from rocks.

the bay was spectacular. spent a great afternoon at this beach. easy access from the highway. parked right in front of the beach as others had recommended. rented a few umbrellas and felt we had the beach to ourselves. my 3 kids (8, 10, 14yrs) had fun snorkeling. we found more fish on the south side (far right) side of... This beach has very clear water to snorkel in . The beach is little pebbles , not sand . It can be busy with boat tours .
