We were at Tulum at the end of our trip and saw many other sites before, so we were a bit "tired". But Tulum Ruins nicely surprised us!!! They are difefrent again. It's rather a walk/promenade than historical visit, set up is more amasing that ruins. It is right on teh sea side and there is even a becah (so... More

If you ever have the opportunity, visit Tulum! These are the most pristine and picturesque ruins you will find, and perched atop cliffs overlooking the aqua-jade waters of the Atlantic! Every photograph here is a post card. The property is expansive, so there's plenty of ruins to view on the grounds.

We visited the Ruins and we're not disappointed. I brought a quadcopter to get Aerial photographs, but was told at the park entrance that it was a Federal No Fly Zone. The gate staff got the park Manager and he offered to keep my $3000 tool in his office. I didn't feel comfortable with the idea of leaving my baby,... More

We took a half day tour to Tulum from our resort and enjoyed the wonderful combination of history and a great beach. After walking through the ruins and learning about the Mayan history there we walked down the stairway to a beautiful beach with great wave action. The main challenge was changing into our swimming suits, since there were no... More

We did this on a Carnival Cruise. Definitely wear your swimming suits; there is no place to change. It is so hot there you’ll be practically dry by the time your back on the bus. The bus ride is not bad, our guide was not real interesting but the ride gives you a chance to see the country. About a... More

So glad we took the guided tour. Our tour guide, Jonathan was very detailed and patient in guiding us through the whole site. It took around an hour then you will be left at the beach to chill out. Wouldn't have seen the hidden symbols and stories had we not have the guide. Highly recommended.

Excellent introduction to the Mayan civilisation - not the oldest or possibly the best of the ruins but the was the easiest for us to access. A good guide is key if you want to get the most out of it. There is little shade and we saw a few families with small children really struggling to keep the little... More

We had a great time touring the mayan ruins. We did the alltour adventura for this and went to the mayan community and ziplined, swam in a cenote.

The beach and water at the ruins are amazing. It's worth the trip to just check out the view. It's not very large so you can finish a tour of the ruins in about an hour.

This is the perfect visit for someone who cant devote a full day to getting to/from Chichen Itza. Ideal for those on a limited adventure off of a cruise ship. The ruins are very interesting, just not as grandiose as the wonder of the world far to the west. Lots of huge iguanas everywhere! There are some very picturesque points... More
