My best experience in playa del carmen so far...Jon makes you feel relax ,confident & comfortable ,explains everything clearly , and makes you progress easily to reach your own goal ... It's not about performance ,it's about enjoying safely the unique sensation of free diving ... Leave the crowded beaches and discover Playa in a different way ... Don't hesitate!!! More

Jon is a great guy and explains everything you learn very clearly and demonstrates all exercises. He will not make you feel pressured, you just work to your own comfortable level. So try it out, experience the cenotes and the jungle and take home a skill but mostly enjoy what you are doing! More

I have been curious about being able to freedive deeper and longer, and decided to take Jon's introductory 2 day free diving/apnea course. Over 2 days, Jon covered some key theory during lectures and then practice sessions in a secluded and deep cenote. I was able to free dive to 70 feet for up to 2 minutes. The techniques learned... Instead of spending your whole time on a beach, head into the jungle and pick up a new skill you can take with you everywhere. Not only will you enjoy Playa more, but you can freedive safely in all your future destinations. Apnea offers new challenges and a very different sense of satisfaction then SCUBA. You get to see the... More

My girlfriend and I went to Mexico for Christmas vacation. Jon was very gracious to schedule our course around our time. He picked us up and drove us out to the private Cenote. The dry-land training was great, friendly and informative and very relaxing. The in-water stuff was even better. Both my girlfriend and I struggled on the first day.... More

Had two really successful days coaching with Jon at two beautiful cenotes. Great dives, reached my depth goal and beat my PB. When you get below about 12 metres in the cenotes the visibility is amazing and the walls and sunken trees are beautiful. Definitely worth a go if your a freediver or want to try apnea for the first... More

I have been so facsinated in freediving world for awhile. And Jon was the one of the best instructor I had met. He is not only fully skilled to teach, but also lead student very comfortable. If you want to improve your skill and make a good friend both, I strongly recommand to take Freedive Mexico!! More

I can only suggest you try it, I was hesitating between scubadiving which I didn't do for quite a while, and this new stuff, and my choice went to freediving for good ! I had a great sense of achievement doing 20meters deep, the sentation down there is amazing, you feel so quiet... doing it in a Cenote was only... More

I did a two day free diving course with Jon and it was an absolutely brilliant experience all together. I was quite nervous about the idea of going any deeper than few meters and only wanted to learn a little bit of the technic for fun and snorkling (which I told Jon several times before starting the course and he...
