We have healthy, well trained horses appropriate for all riding levels. Our tours are semi-private consisting of groups up to 12 riders, ensuring that everyone receives personal attention from our friendly, knowledgeable guides. We are located in a very convenient location between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. During the trail ride be ready to spot various species of birds, iguanas, butterflies and eventually spider monkeys and coatis; our guides will give you an interesting and entertaining commentary along the trails while you pass by a local plantation and follow the path that will lead you to visit a deep natural pit or sinkhole -characteristic of Mexico- resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath. We will then remount and head back to the ranch, where at the end of the ride you will be given an opportunity to take a refreshing swim in our open air Cenote and enjoy some cool refreshments. « less

The tour was supposed to last for 2 hours, although we where on the horses for 1 hour at the best. The group was too large (16 p.) and most of them where total beginners. One guy fell off the horse when a horse stumbled, nothing serious though. We only saw a few iguanas on our way. Horses are not... More

I am an experienced rider who always tries to get some horse riding in on holidays. Rancho Bonanza was recommended by our Best Days rep at the Secrets Capri Resort, and I was not disappointed. The horses are all well mannered and the ones I saw were in superb condition. We appeared to be paired up well with the horses... More

I'm a regular rider in the UK and I always try to ride when i'm away on holiday. This was a fantastic experience and I would recommend it regardless of your riding ability. Raoul and his team were caring, considerate and professional in all aspects, from matching you to the right horse, chatting and putting you at ease with his... More

Booked this trip with Best Day travel. Our ride came 50 minutes late. When we arrived the guide/group was waiting for us. The guide made up a rocky start to a perfect finish. The beach they took us to was breath taking

We were staying at the El Dorado next door so we decided to do this on a cloudy day. It was well worth the price and we had a very good time. It was great for a beginner like myself and they took safety seriously. The walk through the 'jungle' was nice and relaxiing. We also stopped at a great... More

After reading the other excellent reviews, I decided to book this activity for my 8 year old son, my wife and myself (all of us without any real horseback riding experience). I have to admit I was a little nervous initially, not knowing what to expect, but the staff was so amazing explaining everything and making sure everyone was safe... More

This was the best horse riding excursion I have experienced while on holiday. The horses were really well cared for and the staff really looked after you. I would definitely go back if we return for another holiday in the region. Thanks to the horses and staff for a wonderful time!
