You will learn more about the Mayan culture here, than anywhere else in the Yucatan. We went here before going to Uxmal and it helped a lot. You get to try fresh Mayan hot chocolate and see how it is made. The gardens are beautiful. A must see.

Very nicely done museum. Interesting and beautiful. Shows you culture and history. But a decent ride from Merida.

I loved seeing the chocolate in all different stages and all the different uses. The chocolate bars were amazing, the coffee and chocolate drinks superb. These people really do chocolate well.

It is a nice intermezzo during a visit to all the beautiful sites on the Puuc Route. Beautiful grounds, great little café with delicious chocolate desserts.
