This place was a fun, quick trip. It was really neat to see all the sizes of the seahorses too. More

This was a great trip on the way from Playa Norte to Punta Sur. It took about an hour to see everything (in extreme detail), but was an exjoyable experience and worth the $3 per person. Glad to see that they're working on conservation. Loved the octo!!!! More

The place may look small and hokey, but it really is worth a visit. You will see many turtles in rehabilitation, and also others who are in the nursery. I've never seen a sea turtle in real life, and watching them move through the water was so peaceful. The aquarium is great, I especially liked the sea horses and the... More

This was a decent way to spend about 30 min. It is not near much else, so only go if you have rented a golf cart. You can't touch the turtles, but you can hold all sorts of other sea creatures from one tank. I held a ray, a sea cucumber, a conch, and a blowfish! More

Reading the mixed reviews on this I think there is some confusion over what this place is about. As the last reviewer explains, it is a government run facility to aid in turtle conservation. It is not "Turtle Town" or "World of Turtles". The experience is very low key, but interesting nonetheless. My kids (4 and 7) loved it, especially... More

This place is a government ran facility that helps in the conservation the marine turtle in Isla Mujeres. They gather the eggs when the turtles come in May-June to lay them and then make new nests, care for the eggs and release the baby turtles in to the sea. They keep a few turtles at hand for visitors to see,... More

Only a small place with various turtles and some fish. Interesting though and it helps keeping the Turtles from danger. $3 entrance fee. Children would enjoy. Pretty area More
