Only 30 pesos to get in! It is small but the staff was very knowledgable and I learned so much! They have a small area to hold urchins, horseshoe crabs, stingrays, a choch, and other small sea creatures. We even got to hold and touch the smaller turtles inside.

It was a lot of fun to get to hold a stingray, conch, sea cucumber, and lots of other creatures. The little older gentleman giving me the creatures was very enthusiastic, but then he went around to all of the turtle tanks and insisted I hold or touch the turtles, which I did. I loved it, but he was so... More

This is a cute little Turtle Farm, that has many different sizes and types of turtles on display. They ask for a $3.00 US donation to go inside and see the turtles. But I feel they fall short by trying to get tip after tip after tip out of you. Literally everytime I turned around there was another cheesy tip... More

We went there and were horrified to see people from the staff touch the turtels and even put them on people's shoulders for the fun. We read everywhere that human being bear germs which are really bad for turtles. This Tortugranja is, in my opinion, more a kind of amusement park where turtles are treated as if they were toys... But turtles are in concrete pool. Small so little movement. Get a guide and see them in the ocean. Saw huge turtles while snorkeling just off the coast.

It is smaller than we thought, but worth the visit. The kids had a blast touching some exotic animals. It will be a short visit, but you can take a walk outside to the right of the granja and find a place where you can swim with a tiburon gato. Fun!

Turtles are housed here for conservation purposes and later released back into the ocean whenever possible--this is not a zoo, but there are lots and lots of turtles and tortoises to see, along with other marine life. Your 30 peso admission price helps keep this place running, so please make a visit there each time you are on the island.

If you'd like to see sea turtles up close, this is the place. It was inexpensive, and we had fun looking at all of the turtles. I had no idea they could move that fast in the water.

We were not able to see any nests at the turtle farm. Lots of turtles swimming in tanks. Don't expect to spend alot of time here, maybe 30 mninutes at best.
