“Well Preserved Ship Wreck (with some advice)”

Certainly a must dive if you are ship wreck certified. There is nothing much I can add to the history of the wreck as not already provided by a previous reviewer. Four of us dived the C53 Felipe Xicotencatl as our first ever Wreck Dive as part of our Advanced Open Water Course, with Dive Palencar. Fantastic experience! Just dove this wreck today, with a group of beginners (like me) mixed with master divers. Despite the differing skill levels, everybody enjoyed it immensely. This was my first wreck dive and I can't imagine a better one to start with -- the wreck has been pretty thoroughly cleared of wires, etc., that would snag divers, and there's plenty of... More
