Not sure if the reviews here are from people that are not familiar with what this place used to be like but I would say that it was a major disappointment. The whole place seemed to have undergone a major renovation since my last visit 3yrs ago. The only thing I like about it now are the hammocks, other than... More

Where do I begin...if you like...Great Food, Pool with Chairs in the water, Hammocks, being on the beach, good adult beverages, friendly & attentive service ...all in one at one place, then this is the place to be. My husband & I literally spend hours here when we visit Cozumel, which is quite often. I can not say enough about... More

As we stepped into the Restaurant, we were amazed by its view...Its right on the beach, beautiful caribbean sea and forget the crowded beaches. There´s practically NOTHING but nature around you- We went there because someone told us they had really nice seafood, which was true, and ended up staying the whole afternoon! We played volley ball, snorkeled and scouted... More

Punta Morena was our last stop on our Cozumel tour we took last November. Our lunch was buffet style and it was delicious! After the satisfying meal, we grab two lounge chairs by the beach and just chilled. Fabulous! More

Absolutely Beautiful! The restaurant was a little high, but so what! The food was delish and the margarita was great! Just gaze out the window! We rented mask and snorkel for $5.00. Great stop..highly recommend! We went with Go Jeep and Tequilla tour. Forget about the farm and head for the beach. More

This restaurant on the wild side of Cozumel is our favorite and required day trip whenever we arrive. Rebuilt after Wilma in '05; the new place is still the funky beach bar and restaurant where they could have filmed every Corona add ever made. The lobster, Conch, and ceviche are the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is totally laid... More

The food is astronomically priced for what you get. We paid $50.00 u.s. for tacos, a beer and a coke. I recommend eating elsewhere. More

We have been comeing to Cozumel for several years and Punta Morena has always been a 'must stop' on our east side days. I was so amazed by the improvements they have made. There are several new palapas as well as beach loungers. There are now bathrooms and showers on the beach as well. Beach volleyball and soccer areas are... More

I had been to punta morena on each and every trip to the island. My last trip was two years ago , so I was very surprised by all the new construction. The place looks beautiful and the added shade huts by the rock inlet is fantastic. We had some blow up rings that we went into the water with... More
