I took my 3 kids (16, 13, 9) to the Money Bar. We grabbed a table and then snorkeled for a short while. It was VERY choppy the day we went and my 9 year old gave up after a few minutes. We sat and watched the boats and snorkel tours come and go. We had a diet coke and... More

Stopped here for drinks before and after our tour with Tiger. Good Food, Cold Drinks, Live Band, and Great Views. Great place to watch the sunset, and have a beverage or two. Had some tacos and nachos that were excellent. People were warm and friendly and service was great.

We stopped at this location for a drink, lunch and some snorkelling. All three were excellent! While travelling around the island in a rented Jeep, we stopped here first. After reading about this restaurant/snorkelling area during some pre-trip research, we found it to be great for snorkelling the crystal clear waters around Cozumel.

We stopped at Cozumel for the afternoon on a cruise and went to Money bar after reading tripadvisor. The water was crystal clear and there were fish right as you enter the water in front of the dive shop. We did venture north a bit by the protected area but had no luck . We really saw the most fish... More

Was on a cruise and decided to take my family and two others from the ship to "The Money Bar". This is a place that I always go to when on a cruise that goes to Cozumel. It is a quiet oasis away from the other cruisers/ Had a great time snorkeling and saw loads of fish. Luckily the current... More

We visited here while in Cozumel on a Celebrity cruise. The location is great, just a $9 cab ride from the taxi stand at the cruise port. Unlike other guests posted, we had no problem getting the taxi driver to take us there. Taxis were also conveniently waiting across the street when we were ready to leave. As we didn't... More

Arrived aboard the Crown Princess and took the first cab to the Money Bar. The cab driver did NOT want to take us there...we had to tell him that we had reservations. Whatever!!! They must get kick backs to take tourists to special places. The food and drink was amazing. Beautiful view - AWESOME SNORKELING!! Boats were dropping off tourists... More

I will echo what a lot of these reviews are saying. We went there mainly for the snorkeling, which turned out to be not so great unless you just want to see sand in between motor boats barreling towards you. We ate there for lunch. The place wasn't so busy, maybe 10-15 other customers, but we waited over 30 minutes... More

We rented a condo just 1/2 mile south of the Money Bar. We went the first night we arrived and had a wonderful dinner with 2 for 1 happy hour every night 5-7. We also were picked up three days at the pier for our dive trips. We had dinner two more nights which is rare for us but the... More

We spent an afternoon here from a cruise. We did "The Franc" package ~$35.ea for lunch w/ soft drink, 1/2 hour massage on the beach, and a cocktail. Full use of the facilities was also included. For the lunch you order from a select menu. We both ordered the 3 tacos which was served with guacamole - it was excellent.... More
