I agree with others, who have noted that this site is 1) free, 2) close to Sayil, Labna, and other more spectacular ruins, and 3) has some interesting ruins. As the previous review stated, this is maybe not a site you'd want to make a special trip to see -- but if you're in the "neighborhood" anyway visiting Puuc Route sites, you should stop to check this out. Xlapak is one of a number Mayan ruins along what is known as the Pu'uc Route. The guidebooks say that it is the least interesting site along the route, so when we did the route two years ago we skipped it. This year we were in the area again, and we decided to stop.
