Visited the church right off the main square. Caught the end of mass with beautiful singing. No cost for admission (although always nice to drop in a donation). Fairly busy, and under some construction on the inside. Outside steeple (coronation crown) is beautiful.

This is one of the signature historic sights of Puerto Vallarta that allows you to get a glimpse of the hearts of the people here. The craftsmanship that you observe here is extraordinary. Interior renovation continues but does not significantly distract the experience. Free to visit.

Take some time for reflection at the over a century old church. Check the schedule for mass in English. Religious items available for purchase by the entrance.

Even though it is a smaller church it still shows the pride of the Mexican people. Beautiful altar artwork of very representative art and statues throughout. Some ceiling renovation going on during our visit. Worth visiting to get an overall feel for the people of Puerto Vallarta.

Simple. Do not expect a cathedral. Visited the boardwalk nearby. Think about hanging around the downtown area for a while.

We visited this church in one of our tours. It was very nice inside but since we have seen it we would not go back again.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this beautiful old restored church! I have been attending during my visits for 26 years!

Great to see during the day and night! Go explore during the daytime on the night time. What an adventure, but beware to wander off the brightly-lighted tourist areas!!

Beautiful, historic and peacful. If you can manage to go, mid afternoon when there are not many people there, you will probably have the best chance to take it all in. Amazing ornate details and architecture. Just a few steps away from the Malecon.

The statues and pictures are very inspiring. People were praying throughout our visit giving you a real feel for the Mexican Societies religeous practices. People as far away as one block from the entrance of the church crossed themselves when passing. Repairing the roof at present but you barely notice it once your eyes focus on all the statues and...
