you can walk way out, into the water,see bottom,or just sit in the water near the beach, and enjoy the life,dream, read a book... life couldnt get any better(that is what we dream about all winter)

This has always been a favorite of ours since we first came to PV in the 70's. The road is much better now, making the drive from PV easier. The wide white sand beach is perfect for walking for miles! We love taking our little dog to play here.

We took the Punta Mita bus from Wal-mart. Tell the bus drive where you want to get off - this is a regular stop. It is past La Cruz before you get to Punta Mita. My third visit to walk that long beach, collect shells and watch for life in the rock pools. But the old restaurant on the beach has gone. Plans for a condo community are in the works and the peace and quiet of the area will be gone. But it is too beautiful not to share. However a new restauant has...

This is a little known beach amoung tourists and probably the finest beach on Banderas Bay. Soft powdery sand, long flat beach, great for walking and great veiws of whales off shore.

Our extended family had the best day at this beach. Great weather and waves to go with it. We'll definitely be back...Food, chairs boogie boards available for purchase or rent, or you can bring your own!!!

Destiladeras beach is by far the nicest beach on Banderas Bay. The fine sand makes it easy to walk on and the bay and mountain views are outstanding. We just returned from a two week vacation and we saw whales in the bay everyday. If you are not staying on the beach, it is a short drive from Nuevo Vallarta...

Miles of spectacular white sand beach caressed by turquoise blue waters. A great spot that local Mexicans enjoy on Sundays, which is family day and a interesting place to walk and see the beautiful beach front homes
