A nice beach with good surf. Watch surfers from the Mr Lionso Restaurant or take a swim yourself from the clean beach with its warm water.
Best shrimp ever and 2/1 drinks....friendly staff. Easy to get to and wonderful view ....any age is welcome.
It is now a tradition that we go to Playa Brujas on our last night in Maz. The garlic shrimp are to die for, and the Cadillac Margaritas can not be beat. The waiters are friendly and efficient.
Loved that this restaurant was a short walk down the beach from RIU, plus it's was only a 50 peso cab ride at night. The food here is fresh and rich-- free bread and chips upon ordering. The drinks are 2-for-1 after 5pm, so enjoy a couple Coronas. The top dishes are the Coconut Shrimp and Tequila Shrimp, I had... More
If you're staying somewhere without a beach or are just looking for some different scenery, this a good place to visit. You can hop in a pulmonia from the Golden Zone for around 80-100 pesos, or take the Cerritos bus to the turnaround at the end and it's a two or three minute walk to the beach on the left... More
Great view of the beach, and surfers, especially if you go for breakfast on the weekend.Friendly people. Good service if not too busy, but it usually is. Food is average, but prices are good. It's a a fair drive out of town. Very expensive if you cab it. I think there are better bets in town, but it's a change.
Always eat at Playa Bruja at least once or twice during our stay in Mazatlan. Fantastic ocean views plus Great Shrimp - they usually give you 7 and I enjoy the left overs the following day for lunch. If you go after 5 p.m., they have a great Happy Hour and shortly afterwards, mariachi bands visit to entertain.
Every visit to Mazatlan we eat at Playa Brujas. We love the view and the food. My wife gets the lobster and I usually order shrimp but have had the lobster. Every meal has been super and the view is really nice. Very popular with locals and hotel/timeshare alike. Highly recommend for a true beach restaurant experience
I hate giving a bad review and rarely ever do but when you get sick after eating at a restaurant then you simply have no choice. I had the fish tacos and pushed them aside after a few bites because they had a bad smell and did not taste very good. The nachos with chicken were not bad, huge portion,... More
