If you are looking for any palce to spent 2-3 hours to relax with nice view and average beach this place is for you. Easy to get - take a short boat ride for 40peso return and less than 20 min you will be there. Restaurante food is average, nothing special. Do not visit this island on fridays and weekdays,...

So I read a lot of reviews for this island and heard it was a place to go. I did take the family snorkeling, while I scuba dove, the area. There were some nice private beaches but the privacy is useless unless you go with your own boat. The island is nice, but nothing to marvel at. If you had...

Very interesting and pleasant Beach. Access is by water taxi. Seems to be frequented more by local inhabitants than by tourists.
Could be very crowded. Snorkeling good, but not great.

We did the lunch at the Palao and loved their Lobsters. Excellent bar too and they hooked us up with some snorkeling equipment. Great trails too all around the island

Take a water taxi to this island. Go late morning or early afternoon. Return by water taxi around 5 pm.
Water is very calm and shallow for all ages. Lots of boats parked close by also. Not an ocean view, but more of a harbour view.
Take a costera bus.

You can take a bay tour boat ride to the island and stay for an hour.

We were the only Americans on board, so we got a good opportunity to practice our Spanish. The glass-bottom boat circled the harbor, where we...

We took the glass-bottom boat tour to la Isla de la Roqueta from downtown, near the zocalo- don't remember the name. But take the blue/white no-frills boat. My friends took the boat that was supposed to have entertainment and a buffet and paid more and got less. Ours had a nice tourguide (tour was in spanish of course), cold mexican...
