As every beach in Acapulco the sand and surf are great but the local vendors keep offering you goods every 10 seconds This vendors supposed to be forbiden but they don't let you alone. More

The area from the flag to Commercial is a good place. Soriana (very modern) and Aurrera (walmarts value brand) are right across the road for food and beer. The water is pretty calm with the sheltering rocks. I've seen tourists take their hammocks and string them between palm trees for the day. Very easy to do. More
