Caleta is my favorite spot in Acapulco as there I get the real Mexican feeling, the people are genuine and the vendors don't bug you. More

These beaches can get busy on the weekend but mid week are exteremly pleasant, calm and quiet with lots of seafood restaurants to chose from. The water is very calm and would be ideal for small children. More

we dove from Caleta beach.. the beach is wonderfully soft sand, the people who work the restaurants there are friendly, helpful and had a great sense of humor. The beach is clean, the water clear and not polluted. Great place :) More

We tend to go here on busy days, when it is busy. If you want to be shoulder to shoulder with locals, come here on new years day. But bring your own food and beer. The water is very calm and good for anyone to swim. Expect an authentic mexico experience. More

I have to travel to Acapulco frequently from Zihuatanejo, and for 19 years have stayed at... More
