With the old big trees as cornerstones, the shoeshine cubicles surrounding it, the beautiful and recently restored kiosk in the middle of it, and the local vendors selling arts, hand-made clothing and delicious Mexican snacks, this place is just like an old picture of Colonial Mexico. It has an atmosphere of tranquility and quiet where you can easily sit and... More

We visited here twice to find the plaza full of regular Mexican people. Nice place to sit and people-watch. Ventured off a few blocks and found a man on the street typing letters (for the illiterate?). Open air flee market nearby but full of tourist junk.
