very popular place for local sellers and local birds, very noisy square of Acapulco, in time of my visit people hold Catholic ceremony and many people were there More

The vendors, cafes and restaurants surround the heart of the town. The marina is in front of the area and is a must see for visitors. More

All the surroundings are full of poor people. Lack of maintenance. Dirty, a lot of poor stores. More

This is a nice plaza, with a few cafes and shops where the locals gather. At the far end is a lovely cathedral. There is also a market where you can purchase handicrafts. More

be careful in the city center, stay in the tourist areas and the hotel. do not venture yourself in this city, it's really ugly, poor and dangerous More

After 11 years of visiting Acapulco we finally went to the Zocalo. Had an excellent meal at the Italian restaurant and were entertained along the walk throughout the area later. No hassles and lots to see, shop , and do. More

The best day to visit is Sunday, that is family day, and man vendors ar out selling. If you want it quieter, go any other time. It is a must see. I go every year. More

Come friday nites, locals all over, band and public dancing, very refreshing to see so many people having a great time. Safe, you got to be kidding me, people and police all over come and relax and be a local one nite! More
