The fort is right at the foot of the town which is on the cliff above the harbor. Don't fear the footpath up from the harbor. It is nicely cobblestoned, easy to navigate and only a couple of hundred yards to the top. It is part of the fun. Pace yourself if your in the noon-day sun. We went several... More

We climbed up from the Old Gin House, and I suggest you ask where the path starts, because it saves you a good piece of the walk up. This was a fairly short drive, and the view is breathtaking. You can easily see St. Kitts. Nothing there though, but the view, and two cannon, mounted to face the sea. More
