Statia is uniques among the Caribbean islands, a throw back to a quieter more laid back time. More like the "old Caribbean", the islanders are jewels, the traffic is nill, the beaches small and quiet. Fantastic snorkeling and wonderful diving. Rudy and Rinda Hees owners of the 5 star Padi resort Dive Statia are incredibly competent, hospitable and safety conscious.... More
