The sand really shimmers pink in the heat of the sun when the waves break on the shore. Endless beach of the finest sand. Worth the trip to Harbour Island alone. More

Like: soft sand (comparable to Anguilla and Bermuda's pink sand beach), very wide beach area, quiet Dislike: super windy so good for kite surfing, but chilly everytime a cloud passes over the sun. Don't mistake the mild temperature for a weak sun though - getting sunburned is very easy here. More

I went to visit a friend who lives in Lower Bogue, which is about a 15 minute drive to the dock. Once at the boat dock we parked the car and got into a water taxi for $5 dollars per person to get Harbour Island. The ride is a quick 5-10 minutes. Once on the other side there are plenty... More

I last visited the Pink Sands in 2006. It was lovely. This time we stayed at the Coral Beach Club but visited Pink Sands for a lunch and a dinner. The food and service had declined sharply. Warm white wine at lunch. Terrible service at dinner combined with food that I felt came from an hour under a heat lamp.... More

If you have the chance to do some traveling while visiting The Bahamas - you HAVE to make time to visit PINK SANDS BEACH !! Its as beautiful and pristine as all the reviews out there! When the Travel Channel rated this as a #1 beach in the world, they nailed it!! The sand is like walking on sifted flour;... More

Ok so maybe I can't say that this is the most beautiful beach in the world, I have not been to every beach, but this must be in the top 10! I have lived in the Caribbean for the past 8 years, and when I stepped onto this beach I was in awe. I took the ferry from Nassau, we... More

One of the most beautiful beaches I've seen - the sand is truly a pale pink, the beach is kept very clean by the hotels & a small herd of wild horses wanders by on a regular basis to make the scene even more magical. More
