Princess Cays is a beautiful beach owned by Princess Cruises, and like others it was the first stop on a recent eastern Caribbean cruise we sailed on with Princess. The most memorable part of Princess Cays is the snorkeling. The reef there is very shallow which allows you to get very close and get great looks at different fish and... More

We went on another Princess cruise in January of 2012. We had a group and decided to rent a bungelow this time. The bungelows are advertised for 4 people but we had 9 hang out by the bungelow off and on and had no problems but we are low key cruisers. First off there was supposed to be a ride... More

Princess Cays was such a beautiful place for our last stop aboard the Princess Emerald cruise. This spot is owned by Princess cuises so therefore it is a private beach area that you have to do whatever you feel like doing. By private I mean, no locals bothering you to take a taxi, take a tour or ride a jetski... More

As the first stop of our fantastic princess cruise we though the island was a great place to start. Big long beach. If you walk further away down the beach there were a lot of empty chairs and more open space. The snorkeling was as always fun but not a lot to see as the coral is dying. We have... More

The beach is beautiful, but in some places you need to wear water shoes. We went to Princess Cays to snorkel. We had researched where to snorkel, but I found the snorkeling only to be fair. We did get a few good pictures, but there is little to no coral. We found the tendering process to be easy. I think... More

We visited Princess Cays as one our first stop with Princess Cruises. We were lucky that it was a beautiful day. We got off the boat fairly early and secured our beach chairs. (Still hard to find as people had saved for others) For the rest of the day it was very relaxing. We brought our own snorkel equipment, thanks... More

Princess Cruises private island is a nice beach for play. There are quiet parts and kids area. There are several water sport activities available. The ship is not docked here, so you have to take a tender to the island. The barbeque lunch is good. More

Pros: tropical island, warm weather, sunshine, clear water, fast tender process to/from island Cons: crowded beach with 3,000 other people, ran out of food and drinks Much the same experience as other reviewers. This was our first cruise so we arrived later in the morning and tried to find loungers for the family together (not possible) then found out at... More

Princess Cays is a destination owned by the cruise line. If you want to bask in the sun or do some tame, shore-line snorkeling it's a nice stop. But it's all . . . eh, so what? Why are we stopping here on a Caribbean cruise? No history, no real points of interest. Oh, you can over pay for a... More

Beautiful beaches! Princess Cays is on the southern part of Eleuthera which is less developed, so there are not a lot of restaurants or places to go. As for gifts, if you'd like to see a bit of the real Bahamas, buy Cuban cigars or rum, or just have a drink with some of the people on Eleuthera, visit George's... More
