We have been to and enjoyed Magens several times on our cruises to the Virgin Islands. It's so perfect it appears almost man made. The bottom is as smooth as a swimming pool but the fine white sand is much nicer than any pool! They don't allow construction along the beach and it remains a very natural tropical rain forrest....

Lovely beach and we stayed to take photos of the sunset. However we didn't know but sunrise and sunset is when the sand flies come out. If you are very sensitive to bites (like I am) try your best to avoid getting bitten and avoid the beach at sunset. I had over 50 bites and they lasted for over 3...

This beach is by far the most beautiful beach I have ever been to. I am not sure if the people that reviewed it and gave it one star were even in St. Thomas! It is pristine, with lush tropical vegetation and crystal clear water. The beach is not tiny and probably takes a half hour or more to walk...

This is a very nice beach with soft sand and clear calm water. To not be surrounded by the afternoon crowd of people walk down the beach to lay out, there is plenty of beach. There is a restaurant, public restrooms and chair rentals if you desire.

I am from Saint Martin where all the beach are free access.
We've been told that this was because it was a natural reserve but when you finally reach the water trust me this does not look like a...

It is one of the top beaches in St. Thomas and I believe overall in he Caribbean and they will let you know. There is an entrance fee but it wasn't that expensive, around $4 per person. It was beautiful. Go at a time when there are no cruises there because it gets super crowded especially because it's a tourist...

I went there on a shore excursion with royal Caribbean mainly to find a geocache that was hidden there. As there were only two ships in port the day I was there, I found the beach to be very relaxing, and not too crowded. A bar there was also there serving up cool drinks.
This wouldn't be my first choice for snorkeling. We didn't see anything, but the lounging in the water was great. It is a beautiful beach.
We dove the bay and were the only ones! lots of cool stuff to see only a short paddle from where we could park. The beach is so nice and soft to walk on with lots of shade trees. Then after the dive I walked up to the bar and got a cold drink and a bite to eat. The...
